We're not sure if the trail obstacles become smaller or if it's because they're scared of our descending prowess when we're riding the Evil Insurgent. This beastly bike is equipped with 168mm of DELTA suspension that's aptly paired with a 180mm travel fork and slacked-out geometry, making quick work of bike park hits and raw freeride terrain. This Insurgent is built up with some of the most dependable and durable components the industry has to offer, and comes with small features like the integrated chain guide, internal routing, and plenty of rubber protection to keep our whip running quiet and smooth season after season. Spec on the Insurgent is adorned as our local pro themselves would build a bombproof and burley steed for park days and big mountain terrain. Fitted with Rockshox suspension, the build is as capable as it sounds with a Zeb Ultimate taking care of the hits up front and the RockShox Super Deluxe Coil soaking up all our questionable line choices and impulsive sends. Fitted with Industry Nine Enduro S wheels with top-of-the-line Hydra hubs, these capable wheels utilize a 30mm internal width and pair with aggressive Maxxis tires to get the job handled regardless of the terrain. Dropper duties are handled by one of our longtime favorites, the Bike Yoke Revive, known for its consistent, reliable operation and the ability to bleed air at the push of a button to freshen up the post's actuation. With a fully capable GX Eagle drivetrain and our even more capable ( or incapable) legs pushing us up the hill, we're hitting on all cylinders aboard The Insurgent. A WTB Volt saddle keeps us grounded and comfortable while going up against big fire roads, and the full Evil cockpit gives us confidence on the bars. SRAM brakes take care of the stopping duties, the 4-pot pistons giving our bikes a powerful base to get our rigs under control. We'll be sending old jumps deeper than ever and venturing into gnarlier trails than usual this season aboard the new Insurge...
